Definitely bring a picnic! There are nice spots to relax, and food in the area can get pricey. I packed my lunch and it was a great way to enjoy the scenery without breaking the bank.

Parking can be a challenge, so if you can, take public transport or ride a bike. I ended up having to walk a bit from where I parked, which wasn’t too bad but saving time on that would be better.

i recommend visiting major's hill park in the early morning, around 7 am, when it's quieter and the sunrise views over the parliament buildings are stunning. trust me, the photos are worth it!
