Architecture Places Map
Architecture in Macau:
The Venetian
Ruins of St. Paul
I suggest exploring the side streets around the Ruins. You’ll find cheap street food and hidden cafes where you can relax after all the sightseeing.
If you want a unique view, climb to the top of one of the nearby hotels or walking bridges. Trust me, the skyline views of Macau are stunning!
Bring water and snacks with you. There are some shops nearby, but they can be pricey. My advice is to stock up first!
Senado Square
City of Dreams
Fishermen's Pier
Chapel of Our Lady of Penha
I suggest grabbing a local snack from a nearby stall before heading up. It saved me some money compared to cafe prices and fueled my walk up to the chapel!
Temple of A-Ma
Fortaleza do Monti
St. Dominic's Church
If you can, try to visit St. Dominic's Church on a weekday morning around 10 AM. The crowds are way smaller then, and you can really take in the beautiful architecture without feeling rushed. I made the mistake of going on a weekend, and it was packed!
