Museum of Contemporary Art in Medellin

I suggest visiting on a weekend morning when it’s less crowded. Around 10 AM is perfect to soak in the art without feeling rushed around the other visitors.

Bring a reusable water bottle; there are nice places to sit and enjoy the garden outside, and you'll want to stay hydrated without spending on drinks inside.

I recommend checking out their schedule online before you go, as they sometimes have special exhibits or events that can really enhance your experience.

Check if there's a discount available for students or seniors; I was able to save a couple of bucks with my student ID, which made my visit feel even better!
Castle Museum

My advice is to save some time for the gardens outside. They're gorgeous for photos and a great spot to relax after the museum tour.

If you're on a budget, consider bringing your own snacks. The cafe has limited options and can be a bit pricey for what you get!

I suggest checking out the museum's schedule for special exhibitions before you go; I stumbled upon an amazing show that wasn't on my radar. Totally worth it!

Try to avoid weekends if you can; the lines can get long and it's super busy. If you must go then, I say show up right when it opens at 10 AM!

Cisneros Square

I suggest visiting in the early morning, around 8 AM, when the light is perfect for photos and there's less crowd. It's super peaceful then!

If you're a fan of architecture, don't forget to look up! The details on the buildings around the square are so stunning. I almost missed them!

I really recommend spending some time just people-watching. The square has a vibrant atmosphere, and you’ll get a real feel of Medellin life. Just grab a seat and soak it all in!
