Don’t forget your camera! The views along the river and the parks are stunning, and I regret not capturing more moments when I was there.
Make sure to take a bike ride along the river! I rented one at a kiosk for just a few bucks, and it was such a fun way to see more of the area.
Lieras Park
Watch out for the weather! It can change quickly. Bringing a small umbrella or poncho can save you from getting drenched unexpectedly.

Be sure to check out the mini-zoo! It’s included in the entrance fee, and it’s a real treat for animal lovers. Don't rush it; take your time!
Berrio Park
I suggest visiting the nearby plaza to enjoy additional street performances. The vibe is totally different, and you'll catch some local culture there, especially in the afternoon!
My advice is to keep an eye on your belongings. While the park felt safe, like in any city, it's smart to stay alert and avoid showing valuables.
When I visited, I found some street vendors selling yummy snacks. I recommend trying the empanadas; they were cheap and delicious!

Wear comfortable shoes. I did a lot of walking and my feet were sore by the end of the day. Flip-flops won’t cut it here.
Look for discounts online before you go. I saved a bit by checking for promo codes, and it helped me splurge on a nicer meal afterwards!
