My advice is to visit Punta Uva in the morning around 8 AM. The water is so much calmer and perfect for swimming, plus you beat the crowds before they arrive

If you want a chill beach vibe, skip the mainstream Playa Cocles and head to Punta Uva instead. It's less crowded and the scenery is stunning. Bring some snacks and a beach towel to really enjoy the vibe.

I recommend bringing some snacks and water. There aren't many vendors right by Playa Negra, and I ended up wandering a bit far for a bite to eat. Trust me, you'll enjoy your beach time more when you’re not hungry.

My advice is to visit around 3 PM for the best light. The sunset's stunning, and it's less crowded then. Just make sure to stick around for the magical colors—it’s totally worth it!
