Nature in San Jose:
La Sabana Metropolitan Park
Parque Central de San Jose
Plaza de La Cultura
My advice is to bring comfy shoes. You’ll end up walking around more than you expect, especially if you want to explore the area. I didn’t and my feet were killing me!
Costa Rican Vacations
Don’t forget to bring a waterproof bag for your phone and stuff when you’re rafting. I lost a phone because I thought it would be fine without it!
Morazan Park
Bring a portable charger! I spent too much time taking pics and my phone died before I could capture everything. There’s nice seating, perfect for a little break, and maybe even some street performers
I think it's worth wandering around the periphery of the park, where you might find some unique local artwork for sale. I almost missed it but snagged a great piece at a good price!
Parque de la Merced Park
Check out the local food stalls around the park area. I found some tasty, affordable snacks there, and it’s a great way to support local vendors without breaking the bank.
Poas
Parque Espana
My advice is to bring some snacks or grab a quick bite before you go. Food options nearby can be a bit pricey and limited, so save some cash!
