I found that the Happy Hour had some great deals, but it was packed! If you can, get there around 4 PM to grab a seat before the rush.
If you're hungry, try the goulash—it was amazing! But I suggest you order it as a shared plate since the portions are quite big. You can save some money that way too!
Next time, I'll definitely come on a weekday. It got really crowded on the weekend, and waiting for a table took forever. Tuesday evenings were way more chill!
Cafe Savoy
if you want a quieter experience, i suggest visiting around 9 am when it opens. the morning light is lovely, and you can snag a good spot with a view.
Check out the daily specials on the menu. I found a gem of a pastry that wasn't listed on their regular menu; it was a pleasant surprise!
Try the trdelník and hot chocolate - it's a local must-have! My advice is to share a dessert to save a bit on costs while trying more options.
Golden Tiger
"K" - The Two Brothers
Friends Prague
Make sure to try their signature cocktails – they’re not just pretty, they're actually really tasty! I think they change them every season, so ask what's new!
Friends
When visiting, I recommend arriving on a weekday instead of the weekend; it's way less crowded and you can chat more easily with locals and other visitors without the rush.
I think you should check out the local events calendar before going; there are often pop-up parties or themed nights that I didn't know about until I got there, and they made my experience way more fun.
My advice is to try the local Czech beers instead of sticking to cocktails. They are super tasty and way cheaper, plus you'll get a true taste of Czech drinking culture.
Napa Bar and Gallery
Definitely try to get there before 7 PM if you can; it gets super busy later on. Plus, you can enjoy a more relaxed vibe and snag a good spot!
I suggest checking their drink specials; I found a nice local wine that was very reasonably priced and super tasty. Don't miss those!
