I think checking the schedule for practice runs is worth it! The atmosphere is awesome, and you can often get a closer look at the bikes without the big crowds.

I suggest arriving at least an hour early, especially before any big races. The parking fills up fast, and you'll wanna beat the crowd for a good spot.

I recommend exploring the smaller vendors outside the main area. I found some cool merch that was way cheaper than the official stores.

Don't forget sunscreen, even if it's cloudy. I thought I was safe, but ended up looking like a lobster after several hours outside.
