If you want to avoid the crowd, I suggest going on a weekday afternoon. I went on a Saturday and it was super busy, which made it hard to get a game table. Don't miss out on great games just because it's packed!

My advice is to check out special events. I happened to be there during a themed night, and it was so much fun! Plus, it's a great way to meet locals and other board game enthusiasts.

Bring a friend or two. Some games can be a bit complex, and it's way more fun to have a partner in crime. I went solo and had to team up with strangers, which was fine, but I think a buddy would have made it way better.
