Bridge of Love

I suggest checking out the bridge early in the morning around 8 AM for fewer crowds and the best light for photos. It’s way more peaceful at that hour.

If you're into unique photos, bring a small lock to add to the bridge. It’s a cute way to participate in the tradition and can save you some cash – no need to buy souvenirs!
Vasse Canal

I recommend visiting Vasse Canal early in the morning, around 8 AM. It's way less crowded, and you can enjoy the stunning views without the hustle and bustle of tourists. Trust me, it's a game changer.

Make sure to grab a croissant from a local bakery before you stroll along the canal. It's a delicious way to start your day and really doesn't cost much. A total win-win!

I suggest taking a moment to sit on one of the benches by the water and soak in the beauty. Don't rush through; I didn't, and it made my experience so much richer. Plus, you'll get some great photos!
Basilica of the Visitation

Don't miss the stunning views from the terrace! My advice is to take the time to climb to the top even if it feels like a little effort—it’s totally worth it for the photos and scenery.
Notre Dame de Liesse Church

If you can, visit on a weekday morning around 9 AM. It's way less crowded, and you can really soak in the peaceful atmosphere without the hustle. I found it way more enjoyable that way!
Annecy Cathedral

I recommend visiting around 10 AM when it opens, that's when it's less crowded and you can really soak in the atmosphere. Plus, the light coming in through the stained glass is just magical!

My advice is to spend some time walking around the outside of the cathedral before you go in. The architecture is stunning and I think it's worth the time to appreciate all the little details
Saint-Maurice Church

I think bringing a small snack could save you some dough. There's not much around for food right after your visit, and I regretted not packing something!
