Espace Killy

If you’re new to snowboarding or skiing, consider taking a group lesson instead of private ones. It's way more fun and you’ll get to meet other beginners, plus it’s usually more budget-friendly!

I recommend getting the Espace Killy ski pass. It covers both Tignes and Val d'Isère, so you can explore more terrain without breaking the bank. Plus, it’s cheaper if you buy it online ahead of time!

Don’t miss the fun après-ski scene at La Folie Douce, but beware it gets packed. I suggest hitting it on weekdays for a more chill vibe before the weekend crowds arrive.
Bikepark Tignes

I recommend checking the weather before you go. I thought I'd be fine with a light jacket, but it turned out to be way colder up there than I expected. Wind breaker is a must – I learned that the hard way!

My advice is to grab your lift pass online before you go. It saves you time in the morning! I did it on the first day, and the lines at the ticket office were super long. You can use that extra time to hit the trails right away.

I suggest bringing some snacks and water with you... The on-site food can be pricey and not all that great... I ended up spending way too much on mediocre sandwiches when I could've enjoyed a nice picnic instead!
