I recommend going in the morning, like around 9 AM, because it gets super busy later, and you'll have the place to yourself for nice pics. Plus, the heat is way better earlier.

My advice is to bring cash! Some places may not accept cards, and you don't wanna miss out on the cute gift shop. I almost lost a cool book because I didn't have enough cash!

I suggest visiting during the week instead of the weekend. It was much quieter and I felt I could really soak in the history. Plus, it might save you some hassle with crowds!

I recommend wearing comfy shoes because you'll be doing a bit of walking and the cobblestones can be tricky. Also, keep water handy since it gets hot around noon. I wish I had planned better.
