My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. The prices inside can be a bit steep, and there are nice picnic spots around. I wish I had packed some before I went.

i recommend getting there by 10 am when it opens; it's way less crowded and you can enjoy the exhibits without the rush. trust me, the morning light makes the colors pop more, too
