Stavros Niarchos Cultural Center
If you're into art, keep an eye out for any pop-up exhibitions. When I visited, there was a fantastic installation that wasn't advertised but totally worth seeing.
I suggest taking the time to explore the architecture of the building as you walk around. There are unique angles and perspectives that really make for great photos. It was my favorite part of the visit!
Bring a picnic! The park surrounding the center is lovely, and it’s a great way to relax without spending too much on food. Just grab some snacks from a local shop before heading over.
Hellenic Cosmos
St Nicholas Church of Piraeus
Piraeus Municipal Art Gallery
Daphne Monastery
I suggest you go early, around 9 AM, to beat the crowds and really soak in the peaceful vibe. Trust me, it’s way more enjoyable without the hustle and bustle
Archaeological Museum of Piraeus
I recommend visiting on a weekday, especially around 10 AM, to avoid crowds. It felt much more peaceful and you could really appreciate the exhibits without feeling rushed
Bring some snacks or a water bottle. The café options are a bit limited and pricier than I expected, so you'll save time and money this way.
Hellenic Maritime Museum
I suggest you get there right when it opens at 9 am. It’s way less crowded, and you can really take your time exploring without feeling rushed. Plus, you'll have a better chance of finding a good parking spot nearby.
My advice is to ask about any special exhibits when you arrive. I stumbled upon a cool temporary display that wasn't advertised online, and it ended up being the highlight of my visit.
