Gateway Of India Mumbai
Shri Siddhi Vinayak Ganapati Mandir

My advice is to dress respectfully but comfortably. The place can get super crowded and you don’t wanna be fidgeting with your clothes. Light fabrics are your friend!

I suggest visiting the mandir early around 6 AM. You’ll skip the crazy crowds and have a more peaceful experience. Plus, the morning sunlight makes for great pics.

To save time, I suggest checking if there are any special poojas happening before your visit. You might get to experience something unique if you plan it right!

I think it’s a good idea to wear comfortable shoes. You’ll be on your feet a lot and the floors can get a bit slippery with all the foot traffic.
Prince of Wales Museum

If you're into photography, the museum’s architecture is beautiful! Just be mindful of the no flash rule. I missed some great shots because I didn't get the right angles!

I suggest visiting on a weekday, ideally around 10 AM. The crowds are smaller, and you can enjoy the exhibits without feeling rushed.

My advice is to bring a water bottle; there are limited places to grab a drink inside and it can get hot walking around.

I think you should get the audio guide for a few extra bucks. It really enhances the experience by giving you more context about the exhibits.
Queen's Necklace - Marine Drive
Mahalakshmi Temple

Make sure to snap a few pics outside! The architecture is stunning, and there are fewer people around in the early hours, so you'll get a great shot

If you're planning to donate or buy prasad, bring some small notes. I had to hunt for change and it wasted a bit of my time right when I wanted to enjoy.

Try to avoid weekends if you can. I went on a Sunday and it was super packed. Save yourself some headache and go on a weekday.

Check out the side temples first before you hit the main one. I found them quieter and less crowded, plus you get to enjoy some peaceful moments.
International Society for Krishna Consciousness
Fort Bandra

Be prepared for crowds on weekends! I visited on a Saturday and it was packed. If you can, try to come on a weekday for a peaceful experience.

my advice is to grab a local guide from the entrance. it’s usually not too expensive, and i found it super helpful to learn about the hidden stories behind the architecture that i would’ve missed otherwise.

If you're into photography, go in the late afternoon around 4 PM. The golden hour gives the place a magical vibe, and you’ll capture some stunning shots

I suggest bringing your own water and snacks. There’s not much around, and you don’t want to waste time searching for food or drinks while exploring!
Nehru Science Centre

I suggest packing a snack or two. While there's a cafe, it can get pretty crowded, and the prices can be a bit steep for what you get!

I think it’s super helpful to download the center's map in advance. It helps save time wandering around, especially if you have specific exhibits you don’t wanna miss

Be prepared for a bit of noise! There are lots of kids around, and it gets lively. If you're looking for a quiet experience, maybe go on a weekday instead of the weekend.

My advice is to check for any temporary exhibitions before you go. I stumbled upon an amazing one that wasn't on the main website, it made my visit even better.
Flora Fountain

I recommend exploring the nearby areas like Kala Ghoda after visiting. It’s full of lovely shops and galleries you won't want to miss.

Bring some cash for street food nearby! I discovered an amazing chaat vendor just a short walk away. It's way cheaper than restaurants!

I suggest visiting Flora Fountain in the early morning around 7 AM. The light is perfect for photos, and you’ll avoid the crowds!
Watch out for traffic - local taxis are convenient, but I think walking is the best option if you want to enjoy the city vibe
