if you're planning to take photos, do it in the first half of the ride. the light is perfect then, which i wish i'd done. i missed some great shots later when it got cloudy.

I suggest booking your ride in advance, especially if you want an early morning slot around 7 AM. It gets super busy later, and you might miss the cooler weather.
