Rialto Bridge

I think you should avoid dining at the restaurants right by the bridge. They’re often overpriced and not that great. I found some hidden gems just a bit further away!

I recommend going to the bridge around 8 AM. It's way less crowded, and you can actually take some nice photos without too many people in the background

My advice is to wear comfortable shoes. The cobblestones can be tough on the feet especially if you’re wandering around after visiting the bridge!

If you're into shopping, try to check out the small markets nearby. They have unique souvenirs that are actually decent in price, compared to the touristy stuff.
St. Mark's Square

I recommend wearing comfy shoes; the square is bigger than it looks and you might end up walking around for a while. Happy feet make happy tourists!

i suggest visiting st. mark's square in the early morning, like around 7 am, to beat the crowds and enjoy the peaceful vibe. it was magical with just a few people around.

My advice is to check out the free live music performances in the evening. It turned out to be a wonderful surprise and added to the romantic atmosphere!

If you're on a budget, skip the fancy cafes; I found a cozy little bakery nearby with amazing pastries for way less. Treat yourself without breaking the bank!
Doge's Palace
St. Mark's Cathedral
Bridge of Sighs

Plan to explore the surrounding area after visiting the bridge. There’s so much architecture around, and its way more peaceful away from the main tourist areas.
Peggy Guggenheim Collection
Academy Bridge

Bring your own snacks! There are some pricey cafes nearby. I saved a bunch by just grabbing a sandwich from a local shop before heading to the bridge.

Check out the view from the bridge during the day as well as at night—both have their charm! I was blown away by the city lights reflecting on the water later on.

Watch out for those gondola rides! They can be super tempting but they really add up. If you still want that experience try to negotiate the price a bit.

If you're after great photos, aim for sunrise or sunset. The lighting is magical and way fewer tourists around! Trust me, it makes a huge difference.
Santa Maria Della Salute
Cathedral of Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari

Check out the little museum in the back—it’s often overlooked, but there are some amazing works of art. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it!

Take a few moments to admire the ornate ceiling and high altars. One of the best experiences was just sitting on a bench and soaking in the historic vibe. Trust me, it's worth it!

Consider buying a Venice Card if you plan to visit multiple attractions. It can save you some cash and usually gives you quicker entry, plus it's a good way to support local culture!
Arsenal of Venice

I think wearing comfy shoes is a must! The cobblestone paths can be a bit tough on your feet, especially when you're exploring the area around Arsenal.

Don’t forget to grab a gelato after your visit! There’s a great little shop nearby that had the best flavors; a sweet treat to cool down

I totally recommend visiting in the morning around 9 am. It gets pretty crowded later, and you'll have better pics without tourists in the background.

Check the prices before you go – we ended up buying a combo ticket that saved us a few euros since it included access to a few other sites too.
