Juliet's House
Ponte Pietra
Scaliger Bridge

Bring your camera, but also consider a good smartphone gimbal! I found that shooting video of the bridge's majestic architecture was just as amazing as snapping photos.

Watch out for the street performers. They can get a bit overwhelming at times. I think it's best to enjoy them briefly and then move on to soak up the scenery freely.

If you're interested in history, take a quick moment to read about the bridge's significance. Knowing its backstory really enhanced my appreciation while I was there!
Sanctuary of Madonna Della Crown
Roman Theater

If you're into history, check out the small museum attached to the theater - it's a great way to learn more for a small extra fee that many overlook.
Piazza Delle Erbe
San Zeno Maggiore
Verona Cathedral

If you're on a budget, skip the souvenir shop inside. I found better options in the local markets just a few minutes away, plus they're cheaper!

I recommend wearing comfy shoes. The floors are a mix of beautiful stone and tile which was tough on my feet after standing and staring for so long.

Check out the small chapel to the left of the main altar. I almost missed it, and it's filled with gorgeous frescoes that really take your breath away!

I think the best light for photos is around noon. The sunlight spilling through the stained glass is just stunning, so plan your visit accordingly if you're into photography.
Porta Borsari
Signoria Square

Be careful with the cafes lining the square. I spent more than I expected on my coffee. Check the prices before you settle down; some spots are much cheaper just a block away.

if you're planning to take great photos, visit signoria square early in the morning, around 8 am. the light is perfect and the crowds are much smaller, giving you clearer shots of the stunning architecture.

Take some time to just sit and people-watch. I found it was one of the best ways to enjoy the ambiance of the square and appreciate the architecture without feeling rushed.
