Beer Museum

Take advantage of the photo spots! Some of them are really cool and unique, plus you can use them to make your friends jealous on social media.

Wear comfy shoes! There’s more walking involved than you'd expect, and some exhibits are spread out. I didn’t realize I’d be on my feet for a while.

Consider visiting on a weekday if you can. The weekend crowd can make it feel a bit rushed, and you'll get a more relaxed experience browsing at your own pace.

Definitely try the beer tasting session in the basement. It’s a fun way to sample local brews. My advice is to get there right at 11 AM when they open to avoid the crowds later on.
Sapporo Clock Tower
Hokkaido Jingu
Historical Village of Hokkaido

I recommend checking out the museum shop! They have some really unique local crafts and souvenirs that are way cooler than what you'll find in the usual tourist spots.
The Hokkaido University Museum

I think you should check the museum's website for special exhibits before you go. I found out about a cool temporary exhibit only after I got there!

My advice is to grab lunch at a nearby cafe afterward. I ended up spending too much time in the museum’s café and missed out on exploring more of Sapporo!
Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art

I suggest checking for free admission days! They have certain days where you can enter without paying, which is a great way to save some yen. I found out too late, but it worked out well for my friend.

If you're into modern art, give yourself at least 2-3 hours to fully appreciate the exhibits. I tried to rush through and missed some awesome pieces! Take your time and enjoy the vibe
Hokkaido Museum

I recommend bringing snacks or a packed lunch; the café is a bit pricey and has limited options.
Check for temporary exhibits before your visit – I stumbled on a cool display that wasn’t advertised, which was a nice surprise!
Hokkaido Government Office

I suggest visiting in the morning around 9 AM. It was way less crowded then, making it easier to take photos and enjoy the views without rushing.

I recommend bringing some snacks or a light lunch. There aren't many food options nearby, and I wished I had something to munch on while exploring.

If you want some interesting angles for photos, try going to the back of the building. I accidentally found a great spot there that not many people were using!
Sapporo Science Center

My advice is to definitely catch the planetarium shows. They run a few times a day, and I think the 2 PM show was the best. Don’t miss out on it!

I suggest visiting on a weekday if you can. It was way less crowded when I went, and I could enjoy all the exhibits without waiting at each one

I recommend bringing a packed lunch instead of eating at the café. The food was overpriced and not that great. There’s a nice picnic area outside.
Sapporo Fushimi Inari Shrine

I recommend visiting in the early morning around 7 AM when it's quieter and you can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Plus, the soft sunlight makes the architecture look stunning for photos!

Bring some cash if you want to make a small offering or buy charms at the shrine. I found the prices reasonable, but some stalls only accept cash.

Wear comfortable shoes! The paths can get steep and slippery, especially if it rained. I made the mistake of wearing sandals, and it wasn’t fun navigating the trails.
