Park of the Studio "Universal"

I suggest arriving around 9 AM sharp. We got there exactly then and it was a game changer. We hit a few popular rides before the crowds rolled in.

Make sure to bring a portable charger for your phone. I wasn't thinking and my battery died while trying to take pics. It’s a total bummer when you can’t capture the fun!

Don't miss the night parade! It was magical, but I think people start lining up at least an hour beforehand for a good spot.

Check out the food options before you go. I regrets not looking it up - some places are way overpriced and not that great. Look for places that locals recommend.
Osaka Castle Park

I recommend downloading an offline map before you go. Cell service got a bit spotty at times and I didn’t want to get lost while exploring the park

I suggest packing a light lunch and a couple of drinks. There are nice spots by the cherry blossom trees to sit and relax, rather than eating at crowded cafes.
Nagai Park

I recommend taking a stroll in the late afternoon, around 4 PM. The lighting is beautiful for pictures, and it also tends to be less crowded then!

I suggest visiting on a weekday if you can. The weekends can get pretty crowded, and you want to enjoy the beautiful gardens without the hustle. Trust me, it's way more relaxing!

Don’t forget to bring snacks and a picnic blanket! There are great spots to chill out, and it saves you some cash instead of grabbing food at pricey cafes nearby.

My advice is to check out the rose garden when in bloom; it's free and simply stunning. You might want to skip the park's rented bikes if you're not used to cycling, they can be a bit tricky!
Utsubo Park

My advice is to explore the park during weekdays if you can. It can get a bit crowded on weekends, and you definitely want to soak in the serenity without dodging too many people. I felt much more relaxed on a Tuesday when I went!
I suggest bringing a picnic! There are some nice quiet spots to lay out a blanket and enjoy some food. I saw a few people doing it, and it looked like they were having a blast. Plus, it saves you cash on snacks!
One tip I wish I had known is to check the schedule for seasonal events. I stumbled upon a flower festival, which was a nice surprise. I think next time I'll plan my visit around such events!
Hattori Ryokuchi Park

My advice is to bring your walking shoes because the park is huge. You'll definitely want to explore all the beautiful trails and gardens.

I recommend visiting the park early around 8 AM to beat the crowds and enjoy the peace. The morning light also makes for great photos!
