Parish of San Miguel Arcangel
La Aurora Factory

I think planning your visit for around 3 PM is smart if you want to catch a golden hour vibe. The lighting is gorgeous for photos and you'll avoid the midday heat.

I suggest visiting on a weekday around 10 AM when it’s less crowded. You get to enjoy the art galleries without bumping into too many people, and it's much more peaceful!

My advice is to bring cash for smaller galleries and shops. Some places don't take cards, and you might miss out on amazing local art because you can't pay!
Sanctuary of Jesus Nasareno de Atotonilco

Don't skip exploring the gardens around the sanctuary. They’re beautiful and offer a peaceful escape away from the busier parts inside

Plan to visit right when it opens at 9 AM. The morning light on the architecture is stunning, plus you’ll avoid the larger crowds that come later in the day.
Canada de la Virgen
Temple of San Francisco
The Corner Museum of Mexican Popular Toy

If you're really into the art of these toys grab the audio guide for a few extra pesos. It adds so much context to the exhibitions and helps you appreciate the craftsmanship like I did.

I suggest checking the opening hours before you go. I found out they close for lunch between 1-2 PM, which cut my visit short. Planning around that can really help you enjoy more time there!

I think they have a small gift shop at the end with cool toys and souvenirs. My advice is to bring some extra cash; they don't take credit cards. You don't wanna miss out on those unique finds!
Ignacio Ramirez The Necromancer Cultural Center
Temple of the Oratory of San Felipe Neri
Historic Museum of San Miguel de Allende

My advice is to ask about any special discounts – I saved a bit by showing my student ID. It never hurts to ask!

i recommend visiting the museum right when it opens at 10 am to avoid the crowds. i went around noon and it got super busy, making it hard to enjoy everything
Mask Museum
I think taking a little time to chat with the staff can enhance your experience. They shared stories about the masks that made my visit way more memorable!

My advice is to bring cash for tickets. I tried to pay with a card, but the machine was down, and I had to scramble for pesos.
