North Beach
Look out for local vendors selling fresh coconut water. It’s super refreshing and much cheaper than the drinks on the beach. Bonus – you can ask them to chop it open for you!
Lobster Beach
Don't forget to bring your own water and snacks! I was shocked at how pricey the beachside amenities were; totally worth saving some cash.
I recommend hitting the beach early, around 8 AM before the crowds show up. You get the best spot and can enjoy the sunrise too!
My advice is to wander around the area a bit. The nearby shops have some unique souvenirs that aren't sold in the tourist traps nearby.
Marlin Beach
My advice is to arrive by 8 AM to snag a good spot... The beach fills up fast, so if you want a nice view without the crowds, early bird definitely gets the worm!
Chac Mool Beach
For some great local food, head to a nearby taco stand after your beach day—better prices and tastier than the touristy spots around
Get there early, around 8 AM, to snag a good spot! It gets crowded as the day goes on, especially on weekends.
Palapas Park
Don’t skip the free yoga classes if you’re into that! I stumbled upon one; it was so relaxing. Just bring a mat or towel, and you’re good to go.
Bring your camera! The sculptures and gardens are perfect for some Instagram shots. Also, watch out for the flower beds; keep it cute but don't trample anything!
Bring some snacks or a picnic! I noticed a few places selling overpriced food, and it’s way more fun to munch on your own treats while enjoying the park. Saves you bucks too!
Delfines Beach
I suggest getting there early, like around 7 AM. The sunrise is breathtaking and you’ll snag a good spot before the crowds show up. Plus, it’s cooler and more peaceful in the morning.
Check out the free public restrooms near the beach. They’re clean and save you the hassle of going all the way back to your hotel. It’s a little detail, but it helps a lot!
Tortugas Beach
I recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks. The beach vendors can be pricey, so having your own cooler makes it easier to save some cash. Plus, you can enjoy your food while soaking up the sun!
I suggest renting a beach umbrella or cabana. The sun can be intense, and having shade makes a huge difference. Don’t forget to negotiate the price as it can vary!
If you're planning to swim, watch out for the waves! They can be rough at times, so check the beach flags and take it easy if you’re not a strong swimmer. Safety first!
Interactive Aquarium Cancun
I suggest visiting right when they open at 10 AM. It's way less crowded, and you get to see the exhibits without bumping into too many people. I loved taking my time without the rush!
