I suggest getting an Uber to the park rather than parking nearby. The parking situation looked chaotic, and it’s easier to just get dropped off at the entrance.
When you’re exploring, take some time to wander off the main paths. I found some hidden gems and really cool art that aren’t on the main routes. Definitely worth it!
If you love museums, the Museo Nacional de Historia is a must! But buy your tickets online in advance to skip the long lines – trust me, it made my visit so much smoother.
Alameda Park
Try to catch a live music performance if you can. I stumbled upon one and it really added an awesome vibe to the park. Just check the schedule, so you don’t miss out!
Bring a book or a sketchpad! The surroundings are just so charming that it’s a perfect spot to relax and let your creativity flow, plus it's free!
I recommend visiting the park early in the morning around 7 AM. It's much quieter, so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and get some great photos without all the crowds.
My advice is to take a leisurely stroll by the fountains. They’re not just pretty, they also provide a nice break; just don’t sit too long, or you'll miss out on the whole park!
Chapultepec Zoo
Los Dinamos
Pack a picnic! It's such a beautiful area, and having lunch surrounded by nature is a fantastic experience.
check the weather beforehand. i got caught in a sudden downpour, and it dampened the fun. a quick look will save you from getting soaked!
Inbursa
La Mexicana Park
Wear comfortable shoes! The park is bigger than you might expect, and you don’t wanna be limping back to your car like I was.
If you plan to rent a bike, go for the electric ones. They’re only 20 pesos more and save you a ton of energy, especially if you wanna explore it all.
Undido Park
I recommend bringing a portable charger for your phone. You’ll want to snap pics and check maps, but the park has limited charging stations.
I think it’s smart to check out the food stalls outside the park. They offer delish local snacks, way cheaper than what's available inside!
Lincoln Park
Be sure to wear comfortable shoes; the park is bigger than it looks, and you'll want to explore all the corners without your feet hurting!
La Marquesa
Eating at the local food stalls was a highlight! I recommend trying the quesadillas, they were delicious and really cheap... Don't miss out!
Wear comfortable shoes, you'll end up doing a lot of walking! I was totally unprepared and my feet hurt like crazy by the end of the day.
