Flower Market

Check out the smaller stalls; some have unique flower varieties that you won't find in the bigger shops. I found a gorgeous peony there!

If you're planning to buy bulbs, make sure you read the labels carefully. I bought some that weren’t permitted back in my country, so now I'm stuck with them!

Look for some local cafés nearby for a coffee break. I found one just a block away that served the best Dutch apple pie while I rested my feet!

Don't forget to explore the surrounding area! The architecture around the market is stunning, and it’s a great chance to capture some truly beautiful photos.
The Royal Palace

Make sure to allocate at least 1.5 to 2 hours for your visit. I thought I'd finish faster, but I ended up soaking in all the details and gorgeous rooms.
Oudekerk

Check out the little shops and cafes nearby! I found a super cozy spot that offered great coffee at a nice low price, way better than the tourist traps.

Don't forget to bring a camera. The architecture is breathtaking, and you'll want to capture the unique details. Just make sure you can move around easily with it.

If you can, visit on a weekday morning around 9 AM. The crowds are way thinner, and you can really enjoy the stunning architecture without people rushing around.

If you spot any local art displays or pop-up events, check them out! I stumbled upon live music right by the church and it was a lovely surprise
Begeinhof

Bring some snacks! I wish I had because you could easily spend an hour or two just soaking in the atmosphere and it would be nice to munch a little while relaxing.

If you're into architecture, take your time here. There’s so much detail that you can easily miss in a rush. I think you’ll appreciate it a lot more if you slow down.

I recommend visiting early in the morning, around 9 AM, to avoid the crowds. It’s such a peaceful experience and you’ll get the best photos without people everywhere.
The 9 Streets

Start your day around 10 AM to avoid the crowds, especially on weekends. Trust me, the streets feel so much more magical when you can actually stroll around without bumping into a million people.

Take your time exploring side streets! I stumbled upon some amazing hidden gems off the main path that I wouldn’t have found otherwise. The architecture is truly stunning everywhere.

Grab a quick bite from one of the local bakeries or cafes. I found a cozy spot serving fresh pastries that were way cheaper than the touristy restaurants but way tastier!

Check out the little vintage shops; they're often overlooked but have amazing finds. I picked up a unique piece that I still get compliments on!

Magere-Bruges
Our Beloved Church

I recommend bringing a lightweight guidebook or downloading an app beforehand. It helped me navigate and appreciate different sections without feeling lost.

I suggest combining your visit here with a stroll around the nearby Jordaan neighborhood. It's super charming and has great cafes to relax in afterward.

Arrive before 10 AM to beat the crowds and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere inside the church. I found it really nice to have the space almost to myself for a bit.

Take some time to chat with the volunteers or staff. They have some fantastic stories and insights that can enhance your visit and give you a deeper understanding of the church's history.
Coin Tower

I suggest visiting in the early morning around 9 AM. You'll avoid the huge crowds and get those perfect photos without strangers in the background. Trust me, it makes a difference!

I recommend checking the weather before you go. It rained during my visit, so the views weren’t as stunning as I imagined. A poncho or umbrella would’ve been helpful!

My advice is to grab a city pass if you plan to visit multiple attractions. It saved me a good chunk of change, plus some spots give discounts when you show it at Coin Tower!
Python Bridge

My advice is to explore the nearby parks after checking out the bridge. It's a nice way to relax and enjoy the city while getting some fresh air, plus it won't cost you anything extra.
