Van Gogh Museum
I suggest visiting on a weekday, especially Tuesday or Wednesday. The place felt way less crowded, and I could truly appreciate the art without people jostling me for space
Rijksmuseum
I suggest visiting on a weekday if you can - it’s way less crowded than on the weekends, which means more time with the art and less waiting in lines!
Check out the museum’s closing time! I nearly missed a few exhibits because I didn’t know they start closing off areas 30 minutes before the official time
Anne Frank House
Consider going either around 11am or after 4pm. I noticed it was way quieter during those times, giving me more space to explore and take photos. Mornings can be packed!
My advice is to skip the audio guide unless you really want it. I found the displays were informative enough. Plus, it cost an extra few euros that I’d rather save for a snack later!
Museum Nemo
Take the time to explore the hands-on exhibits. I initially skipped them, but I ended up having the most fun there—it’s all about engaging with science!
If you can, visit on a weekday morning around 10 a.m. to avoid the crowds; I did that, and it felt way more relaxed.
Sex Palace Peep Show
Flower Market
Don't forget to explore the surrounding area! The architecture around the market is stunning, and it’s a great chance to capture some truly beautiful photos.
consider budgeting a little extra for a fresh flower bouquet. it was reasonable, and having beautiful flowers during my trip was totally worth it!
Museum of Prostitution Red Light Secrets
Keep an eye out for the little interactive stations. They’re fun and provide some unique insights that you might miss if you just read the signs.
I recommend taking a break in the café after your visit. It’s a nice spot to reflect on everything you just learned and unwind a bit.
Moco Museum
Body Worlds
Take your time with each exhibit. I rushed through some parts, and I really regret it now. Slow down and enjoy the details!
If you're on a budget, check out the local eateries nearby for lunch. Eating around the area is way cheaper than the café inside the museum.
Try to visit early in the morning, around 10 AM. I found it less crowded then, and you can really take your time without feeling rushed.
