A'dam Lookout

Honestly, visiting right at sunset is magic! The view is stunning and you'll get some fantastic photos. I suggest being up there by 8 PM, especially in summer.
Xtracold Icebar Amsterdam

I think visiting around 4 PM is ideal. You miss the big crowds and still have some daylight to wander around before it gets dark.

The cocktails are unique but pricy. I suggest trying the signature drinks so you really enjoy the whole icy vibe. Then stick to beer afterwards to save cash!
I recommend booking your tickets online in advance to save a few euros! Seriously, the line can get long, and it’s nice to just walk right in

If you’re bringing a camera, make sure to ask staff for a photo. They’ve got some great spots set up for pics, and it saves you from fumbling around in the cold!
Amsterdam Cheese Museum
Zoku

If you're on a budget, consider grabbing a drink instead of a full meal; there's plenty of cozy spots outside the Zoku where you can munch on cheaper bites.

My advice is to take the stairs up if you can. The elevator line can get pretty long, and the stairwell offers fun little art exhibitions along the way!

Don't skip the rooftop bar. Happy hour is from 5 to 7 PM, and the cocktails are worth every penny – plus, the ambiance is super chill
Brouwerij 't IJ
The Pool Bar

Don't miss out on their unique cocktails! I tried a few, and they were way better than the usual bar fare. Totally worth it!

I think it's best to reserve a billiard table in advance if you’re going during the weekend. It can get packed quickly, and I had to wait quite a while otherwise.
Micro Brewery. Brouwerij De Prael

My advice is to chat with the staff. They're super friendly and often have good tips on the best brews to match your taste. I learned so much just by asking!

i recommend trying their tasting flight. it’s a great way to sample multiple beers and figure out which ones you love without committing to a full pint. totally worth it!
I suggest visiting around 5 PM... It’s lively but not overpacked, and you can snag a table by the window... Just make sure to get there a bit early to be safe
Proeflokaal Arendsnest

Ask the bartenders for recommendations! They're super knowledgeable and can guide you to something you'll love based on your taste. It really made my experience special.
Reypenaer Cheese

I suggest arriving around 11 AM before the lunch rush. It was way less crowded, and we had plenty of time to taste the cheeses without feeling rushed.

My advice is to ask questions during the tasting. The staff was super friendly and shared fun stories about the cheeses. I learned way more than I expected!
Beer Temple

Be cool with the staff! They love to share recommendations and chat about the beers. Engaging with them really enhanced the experience for me.

Don't skip the bar snacks! They were surprisingly good and priced fairly. Perfect for pairing with your drinks!

Check their beer menu online before going. They have some unique seasonal brews, and knowing what you want can save you time when you arrive.

Try to visit during weekdays, especially Tuesday or Wednesday, to avoid the weekend crowds. It made our experience a lot more relaxed and enjoyable.
