If you want to avoid the heat, try visiting early in the morning, around 8 AM. The chill is really nice and you'll have way fewer people around.

My advice is to use public transport if possible. Parking can get really full, and it's a hassle to find a spot. The local buses run pretty well.

If you’re looking for a great photo op, head to the top of the stairs near the entrance. The angle of the monument against the skyline is amazing.
