Try to visit in the early morning, around 8 AM, to enjoy the plaza with fewer crowds and to catch the beautiful morning light for photos. It’s just way more relaxed before the tourists pour in.

If you're into photography, I recommend visiting just before sunset. The warm colors really bring out the beauty of the architecture, and it's magical with the lights coming on.

I think arriving right at 11 AM is perfect to catch the Changing of the Guard ceremony. It's such a cool experience and you get to see the palace buzzing with energy. Trust me, you don’t want to miss it!
