Commerce Square
Bring a portable charger! I didn't, and my phone died while snapping pics. The place is so photogenic; you'll definitely want your camera ready.
Torri di Belen
My advice is to check the opening times before you go. Sometimes they change seasonally, and you don’t wanna miss out on visiting the tower itself!
Don’t forget your camera! The views from the top of the tower are stunning – perfect for those Instagram shots. I regret not taking enough photos!
Mosteiro dos Jeronimos
Lisbon Cathedral
Grab a coffee at one of the nearby cafes before your visit... There's nothing like enjoying a cuppa while soaking in that Lisbon vibe!
If you want to beat the crowds, I suggest going right when it opens at 9 AM. You can take some great photos without people in the way!
Make sure to wear comfortable shoes; there are a lot of cobblestone steps leading up to the cathedral. I definitely underestimated that and ended up with sore feet!
Bridge April 25
If you're planning to walk the bridge, go during the week if you can. The weekends can get super crowded, which makes it tough to enjoy the experience without bumping into people.
Check out the nearby viewpoints in Almada for an incredible perspective of the bridge and city. I suggest heading to the Jardim do Trocadero, especially during golden hour for great photos!
Carmelite Monastery
If you can, grab a Lisbon Card. It helped me save on entrance fees, and I used it for other attractions too, making my trip more budget-friendly!
I suggest going early, around 9 AM. It gets really busy, and you'll want those quiet moments to appreciate the stunning architecture without the crowds
Arc de Triomphe on Rua Augusta
If you're trying to save money, consider skipping the surrounding shops selling overpriced souvenirs. Instead, try local markets a bit further away for better deals.
Grab a coffee at one of the nearby cafés after your visit. It’s a perfect way to soak in the atmosphere and people-watch. You’ll thank yourself later!
