Edward VII Park

Download a map of the park in advance; it can be a bit confusing to navigate. Trust me, wandering around too long can eat up your valuable time.
Check out the viewing point for the best pictures of the park and the city. It gets crowded later in the day, so snap your photos early!

I suggest visiting Edward VII Park in the early morning, around 8 AM, to enjoy peaceful vibes and cooler temperatures. It’s a great way to start your day.

Don’t skip a stroll down the park's pathways, but watch for uneven paths. It’s pretty but can be a little tricky if you’re not paying attention.
Lisbon Zoo

If you're planning to hit the zoo and other attractions, consider getting the Lisboa Card; it can save you money on entries.

I recommend wearin comfy shoes because you'll be doing a lot of walking! My feet hurt by the end of the day, so don't make my mistake!
If you can try to go on a weekday! The weekends get super busy and we found it nice to stroll around without too many crowds.
Miradouro de Santa Luzia

If you're looking for a unique photo spot, try walking down to the small blue tile wall nearby. It makes for a lovely backdrop!

Don't forget to bring some cash if you plan on grabbing a drink. Some local vendors only accept cash, and I missed out because I had cards on me.

Take your time to wander around the surrounding streets after visiting. There's some beautiful murals and hidden gems that you wouldn’t want to miss!
Bring a light jacket or sweater! It can get a bit breezy in the evening, and I was not prepared for that when I visited
Estrela Park

I recommend visiting Estrela Park in the late afternoon, around 5 or 6 PM, when the sunlight gives everything a beautiful golden glow. It’s perfect for photos and less crowded!

If you're into sunsets, don't forget to check out the viewpoint area near the basilica. It's a lovely spot to watch the sky change color over Lisbon.

there's a small playground for kids, so if you're traveling with little ones, they’ll have a blast! but, be aware of the nearby benches getting taken quickly, grab a seat early!
Principe Real Garden
Estufa Fria
Don't skip the tropical house! It's full of interesting plants and I found it to be the highlight of my visit.

Be sure to wear comfortable shoes; you'll want to wander around and enjoy the different sections without ending up with sore feet!

If you're on a budget, consider getting the combo ticket for the nearby Parque Eduardo VII – it saves you a few euros and allows you to explore both areas.

I recommend visiting early in the morning around 9 AM when it's less crowded and the gardens are peaceful for a relaxing stroll.
Miradouro de Sao Pedro de Alcantara

Get there early, like around 8 AM, if you want to enjoy the view without the crowds! I made the mistake of going during the afternoon and barely found a spot to sit.

If you're planning to grab a snack or drink, there's a kiosk on site that’s pretty reasonably priced. I splurged at a nearby café for a drink and wish I hadn’t!

You gotta take a walk around the gardens before or after checking out the view! I found some nice spots to chill and snap pics without all the hustle.

parking can be a pain around the area (trust me, i circled like three times!), so consider using public transport or just walking if you’re near a subway station.
Botanical Garden of the University of Lisbon

If you’re into photography, don’t rush through the entrance! I missed some great shots during the golden hour, so aim to arrive around 6 PM.
