Quinta da Regaleira

If you're a fan of photography, I think late afternoon is best as the light is just perfect. You'll get breathtaking shots of the architecture – trust me on this one!

Check out the initiation well – it's got this magical vibe! But be ready for some steep stairs. It’s worth it for the awesome view at the bottom though!

Don’t forget to bring some snacks and water. There are spots to sit and chill, so you can enjoy a little picnic in the gardens… plus saves money instead of buying everything there.

I recommend visiting during the week if you can. The weekend crowds can be a bit overwhelming, and you’ll get way better photos without all the people in your shots
Palacio Nacional de Sintra

My advice is to take your time and read the info on the displays. The history is fascinating, and it really enhances the experience if you know what you’re looking at.

Don’t forget to wear comfy shoes! The floors can be slippery, and you'll be doing a lot of walking around those beautiful, gigantic rooms.

Make sure to check out the gardens too! I almost skipped them, but they’re totally worth the stroll and offer great views of the palace.
