Singapore Sports Hub

I recommend visiting the Sports Hub early in the day, around 9 AM. It’s quieter then, and you’ll have more time to explore all the facilities without feeling rushed.

Make sure to explore the nearby hawker centers for a meal before or after your sports event. They offer delish local food at great prices. I had a fantastic laksa that really hit the spot!

If you're into baseball, swing by during a practice session if you can. I saw one and it was so cool to watch the players up close! Just check the times online first.

If you plan to play some volleyball or ping-pong, arrive at least an hour early to secure a spot. Believe me, it gets packed quick, and I was bummed when I couldn’t find an available court!
Salt & Light Archery @ Chai Chee

My advice is to book online in advance if possible, especially on weekends. It gets crowded quickly, and you don't want to miss out!

I recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early to fill out forms and get set up... I rushed in last minute and it added to my stress during the session!
I suggest wearing comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes – you’ll appreciate being cozy while you focus on your aim. Trust me, I got a bit sore with my flip-flops
Jurong Lake Gardens

If you're into walking trails, make sure to download a map beforehand. I got a little lost at first, and it would have saved me time.

For a unique view, don't miss the Sky Garden. I almost skipped it, but it ended up being my favorite part of the gardens!
I highly recommend bringing some snacks or a picnic blanket. There are beautiful spots to relax, and food options nearby can be a bit pricey.
Haw Par Villa

If you want some great photos, hit the park early in the morning around 9 AM. The lighting is perfect, and it’s much less crowded, making it way easier to take fab shots.

Don’t rush it! Take your time exploring each section. I felt like I missed out because I was trying to hurry through to see everything in one go.

Hey, definitely check the park's opening hours before you go. It can close a bit earlier than you might expect. I went during the late afternoon and missed some attractions

I suggest wearing comfy shoes; you'll be walking a lot! The paths can get a bit uneven, and my feet were killing me by the end of the day.
Singapore Ferris Wheel
MacRitchie Reservoir Park
Snow City Singapore

My advice is to wear thick socks and gloves. I thought I'd be fine without them, but my fingers got super cold quickly! Can't enjoy the snow activities when you're freezing!

If you’re planning to skate I would skip the rental skates and bring your own. The rentals were a bit worn out and my own skates made the experience way better!
BOUNCE Singapore Pte. Ltd.
MOVE Academy Singapore

Start off with the beginners' area even if you think you’re advanced. I jumped into the hard stuff too soon and ended up frustrated.

I suggest checking out their social media for deals. I found a promo for my visit that helped me save a few bucks on the entry

The vibe is super chill, but don’t be shy to ask instructors for tips - they’re really friendly and can help you improve fast!
Sports Boules Singapore

i recommend visiting on a weekday if you can because weekends can get super crowded, making it hard to enjoy the game. plus, you might snag some good deals on food nearby!
Definitely check their social media for any events or tournaments happening. I stumbled upon a friendly competition, and it was the highlight of my visit!

Bring your own snacks and drinks. The food stalls are a bit pricy, and having your own refreshments saves money and keeps you energized for more petanque.
