Top Castles in Maribor

Don't forget to wear comfy shoes. The castle has some steep and uneven paths. I made the mistake of wearing flip-flops and it wasn't the best idea. Next time, I'll definitely choose better footwear.

I recommend visiting on a weekday if you can... It was way less crowded, and I had more time to explore without feeling rushed... Plus, the views from the top are totally worth it!

If you're looking to save some cash, try to grab a combo ticket for Maribor Castle and other local attractions. I wish I'd known about it before my visit—could've saved a few bucks!
