My advice is to take a stroll around the nearby Plaza de la Merced after your visit. It’s a great way to soak in the local vibe and gives you a perfect spot to relax with a snack.
I recommend getting your tickets online before you go. It saves time and you can skip the line at the entrance, which was a lifesaver for me.
If you're a student or under 26, bring your ID. They offer discounts that can save you a nice chunk of change on admission.
Check out the small gift shop! They have unique items and prints that are much better than the standard tourist stuff you find elsewhere.

i suggest getting there around 10 am, right when it opens. it gets busy quickly, and you’ll have a much better experience exploring without the crowds. trust me, it's way more enjoyable that way!
My advice is to check if they have any special events or workshops happening during your visit. I stumbled upon a mini concert that was included with my ticket—such a cool surprise!
