Mercy Beach

I recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks to save money; the beachside cafes can be pricey! We loved picnicking there instead.

My advice is to explore the small beach bars nearby for authentic tapas instead of the big restaurants... The vibe is more local and you'll probably enjoy better food at lower prices
Huelin Beach

I found that bringing your own snacks and drinks is a real money saver; beachside cafes can be pricey for just a soda!

If you want to grab a good spot, try to get there by 10 AM; the beach gets pretty busy later and the good sunbathing spots fill up fast.
Palo Beach

If you can, visit on a weekday to avoid weekend crowds. It's way more chill and you can snag a good spot on the sand without fighting for space.

check out the local beachside chiringuitos (beach bars) for reasonably priced seafood. i found the paella here much better than what i had at fancier restaurants

For the best sunset views, head to the beach around 7 PM. It's magical and totally worth it, plus it’s less crowded as most people leave after the daytime.
Malagueta Beach

Check the weather, seriously! I thought it would be sunny all day, but ended up with a cloudy sky by 3 pm. Bring a light jacket just in case!

If you plan to swim, be careful with the current. I learned the hard way after being pushed quite a bit. Stick close to the shallow areas, especially if you’re not a strong swimmer.
