Make sure to wear comfy shoes! You’ll be doing a lot of walking through the castle and gardens, and trust me, those cobblestones can be a bit unforgiving.

If you want to save some cash, check the ticket prices online before you go. Sometimes there's a discount for booking in advance; it worked out great for me!

I suggest visiting on a weekday if you can; it was way less crowded for me, and I could savor the beauty of the place. Weekends can get pretty busy!

I suggest taking the route down through the park first, as you'll get to see some stunning views before you head back up. Plus, it's a nice little warm-up before exploring the monastery itself!

Timing is everything! The waterfalls are most stunning early in the morning around 10 AM when the sun hits just right. Don't miss that photo op!
