Sagrada Familia

I think grabbing a quick bite at the little café nearby before heading in is a great idea. It was handy for a snack, but don't expect gourmet – just decent for a munch!

If you're a fan of photography, I recommend visiting around 9 AM when the light comes in beautifully through the stained glass. You might get some stunning shots.

bring a sweater or light jacket, it can get a bit chilly inside, especially near the columns. i was there in summer and still found it a bit cold.

I learned the hard way that weekends can be super crowded. If you can, aim for a weekday to avoid the tourist rush. The vibe is just so much better when it's not packed!
Casa Batllo
Plaza Catalunya
Fountain of Montjuic

I recommend taking the funicular up to Montjuic before visiting the fountain. The views are stunning, and it saves a lot of walking time!

Watch out for the street vendors. I ended up spending way too much on a cheap souvenir that I thought was special. Stick to markets for the real deal!

My advice is to wear comfy shoes. You'll be walking a bunch around Montjuic, and you don’t wanna end up with sore feet

i suggest you catch the fountain show around 9 pm. it gets really crowded, but it's magical with the lights and music – just get there early to find a good spot!
Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau

Don't forget to bring your headphones if you’re using the audio guide; it's super informative and made my walk around way more interesting. I wish I'd brought mine along.

My advice is to wear comfy shoes; there's a lot of walking and some not-so-even paths. I can’t believe how sore my feet were afterward!

buy your tickets online! i didn't, and ended up waiting in a huge line. it saved me a ton of time once i figured this out after my visit

The gardens are nice, but if you want some good photos without many people, head to the Hospital entrance around 5 PM. The light is gorgeous then!
Casa Mila
If you like art, take a moment to check out the details in the design. I was so caught up in the main features that I initially missed some cool hidden elements.
Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia

Check out the beautiful rooftop views! I didn’t realize you could go up there until later. A small fee for the elevator is totally worth it.

Bring a light jacket! The inside of the Cathedral can get chilly, especially if you stay a while to admire the stunning details. I wish I had prepared for it.

Don't forget to check the schedule for the mass. I stumbled upon a service and it added a special vibe to my visit, even though I didn't plan for it.
Triumphal Arch

Bring a snack and a bottle of water! There aren't many food stalls nearby, so a little picnic by the nearby gardens is a great idea.

If you’re into photography, go just before sunset. The light is amazing and you’ll get some great shots without too many people around.

I noticed that some guided tours were kinda pricey. If you're okay with exploring on your own, just a good travel app for info can save you some bucks!

my advice is to wear comfy shoes! the area has some beautiful walking paths and you’ll want to explore a bit without your feet hurting.
Barri Gotic
Palace of Catalan Music

Grab a snack or meal at the nearby cafes; some of them offer great views of the architecture!

I suggest booking your tickets online in advance to skip the long lines. It saved me a ton of time!

Don’t miss the chance to catch a concert if you can; the acoustics are incredible in that building!
