CosmoCaixa

My advice is to check out the planetarium show, but book your tickets in advance online. Otherwise, you might miss out—it gets full quick!

My tip is to wear comfy shoes! You’ll do a lot of walking, and trust me, your feet will thank you after climbing all those stairs and exploring.

If you're into interactive exhibits, head straight to the 'Flooded Forest' and 'Biosphere' areas first. Those got super busy by lunchtime!

I think packing your own snacks is a smart move. The onsite café can be a bit pricey, and there are lots of spots to chill and munch inside.
National Museum of Art of Catalonia
Museum Picasso

My advice is to bring snacks or a light lunch. The café was a bit pricey and small, and I wished I had something with me to munch on instead while exploring.

Plan to spend some time in the lovely courtyard. I didn't realize how nice it was until I stumbled upon it. It's a great spot to relax or take some fun pics!
I recommend getting your tickets online beforehand. It saved me from waiting in that long line outside, and I got right in! Plus, sometimes you can find online discounts

Check out their temporary exhibits too! I was surprised by how they brought in fresh perspectives on Picasso, it added a lot to my experience, plus it was less crowded than the main collection
Spanish Village

If you're a fan of food, don’t skip the café there; it has some local bites! I tried the tapas and it was delish! Just be ready for a wait if it's lunchtime, but it's worth it.

I think it’s best to visit on a weekday if you can. I went on Saturday, and it was packed—way harder to take photos and really soak it all in. Not the vibe I wanted.

My advice is to take part in one of the workshops offered... I thought they’d be boring, but it was super fun and I got to make a cool souvenir... Totally worth the extra cost!

I suggest getting there right when it opens at 10 AM. The place gets busy fast, and the earlier you arrive, the more time you’ll have to enjoy everything without the crowd. Trust me, it makes a difference.
Maritime Museum of Barcelona
Joan Miro Foundation

I suggest starting with the temporary exhibitions; I thought they were a bit more engaging. The permanent collection is great too, but the changing ones often surprised me!

Don't forget to explore the gardens outside; they’re so peaceful and filled with Miro’s sculptures. I totally almost missed that part, and it was one of the highlights!

Bring a small snack or drink with you because the café is a bit pricey and I ended up spending more than I expected. Plus, there are some nice spots to sit and enjoy your own food outside!
Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau

buy your tickets online! i didn't, and ended up waiting in a huge line. it saved me a ton of time once i figured this out after my visit

The gardens are nice, but if you want some good photos without many people, head to the Hospital entrance around 5 PM. The light is gorgeous then!
Check out the little cafe inside! I stumbled upon it and was pleasantly surprised. Prices are decent for a museum, and their pastries are yummy and energizing for more exploring!

Make sure to check the opening times before you go; they can be a bit tricky. I got there too early once and had to wait around. Going around 10:30 AM should be perfect to avoid the big crowds.
Gaudi Museum

If you're short on time, focus on the highlights like the park and Casa Batlló. I made the mistake of trying to see everything and it got overwhelming.
Monastery of Pedralbes
If you’re on a budget, skip the audio guide. There are informative signs throughout, and honestly, I found them more than enough. Save those euros for a nice tapas meal later.

I suggest visiting on a weekday, preferably around 10 AM. The weekends can get crowded and it’s a lot nicer to explore the peaceful gardens and chapels when it’s quiet

My advice is to take your time in the cloisters. They're stunning and perfect for photos! If you rush, you might miss the details. I think I could’ve spent an hour just there.

I suggest exploring the surrounding park after your visit. It’s a peaceful area to relax and reflect on the beauty of the monastery. I regret not doing this!
Museu d'Història de Catalunya

Don’t rush through the exhibits! Take your time in the medieval section – it's fascinating and way easier to enjoy if you just slow down. I found myself zipping through, which I regretted later.

I think visiting on a Sunday is a sweet deal, as they offer free entry the first Sunday of every month. Just be prepared for it to be busy – I wasn't and it was a bit overwhelming!

I recommend checking out the rooftop terrace for some stunning views of the city. It’s a perfect spot for a photo op, and the best part? It’s usually less crowded in the mornings around 10 AM

My advice is to buy your tickets online ahead of time. It may save you some money and definitely time in line. I bought mine at the last minute and ended up waiting way too long.
