Jet d'Eau
Try visiting Jet d'Eau in the morning around 9 AM to avoid the crowds. Trust me, it’s way more peaceful and you get better photos without tons of people in the background.

If you're looking for souvenirs, there are shops nearby with cool stuff. But I recommend checking out local markets instead; you might find unique, handmade items for less.

I found that the best angle for pictures is from the bridge connecting the Jet d'Eau to the right bank. You get a full view of the fountain and the city behind it. Make sure to have your camera ready!
Broken Chair

Check out the Broken Chair in the afternoon around 4 PM when the sunlight hits it just right for some cool photos. I wish I had gone then instead of midday!

If you're planning to grab a bite nearby, I suggest hitting up the sandwich shops around the area. They have great deals and sit-down places can be pricey. Plus, it's nice to munch while you stroll!

don’t forget to explore the area a bit. there are tons of interesting monuments and the park is pretty. i found some unexpected gems just down the path that kept me entertained for an extra hour.
Temple of St. Peter
Check the opening hours in advance; they can be a bit tricky. I missed going inside because I didn’t realize they close early on Sundays

If you're tight on cash, consider skipping the guided tour and get the audio guide instead. It’s more affordable and still informative!

Make sure to wander around the small streets nearby after visiting the temple. I stumbled upon cute cafes and shops that weren't crowded, which made for a lovely experience.

Bring a good camera! The views from the top of the tower are stunning. I spent a good half-hour just taking photos, but be prepared for a climb!
Palace of Nations
Brunswick Monument
Monument de la Reformation and Parc des Bastions
Natural History Museum

Check out the museum's free entry on the first Sunday of each month! I wish I knew this before; saved some cash for my lunch afterward.

If you're planning to spend some time there, bring a snack or a water bottle. The cafe is a bit pricey, and you can easily lose track of time exploring the cool displays!
Red Crescent Museum
Treille Walk
Patek Philippe Museum

I recommend going on a weekday, ideally around 10 AM. It was way less crowded then, and I could admire the watches without feeling rushed. Weekends can be a zoo!
