I think you should bring some snacks and water because the nearby eateries can be a bit pricey. We ended up spending way more than we planned just to grab a quick bite afterwards!

I suggest visiting Stollmeyer's Castle on a weekday around 10 AM. It was way less crowded then, and we had plenty of time to take photos without people getting in the way. Trust me, you'll appreciate the peace!

My advice is to check the weather before you go. When we visited, it rained unexpectedly! An umbrella saved us, but maybe easy-to-carry ponchos would be a better idea next time.
