Hierapolis
Plane Square

Take a leisurely stroll around the architecture in the morning. The lighting is perfect for photos and you won't feel rushed by the crowds like in the later hours.

if you're a fan of photography, i recommend hanging around during sunset. the golden hour light makes for stunning shots of the square's architecture, and it's less crowded too.
The Ancient City of Laodicea
Deliklicinar Mosque
Hierapolis Ancient Theater

I recommend bringing some snacks and water. There weren't many places to grab a bite around, and you'll want energy to explore more.

I think it’s wise to check the weather before you go. It was super hot when I visited, and I wished I had a hat or sunscreen!

My advice is to wear comfortable shoes—it’s a bit of a trek to get there, and the stones can be slippery!

I suggest you get there early, around 8 AM, so you can enjoy the sunrise and avoid the big crowds. The view from the theater is stunning
Denizli Museum

My advice is to spend some time on the upper floor – the view is way better than I expected, and you can get some great photos. It’s usually less crowded there too, so you can enjoy the exhibits more peacefully.

I recommend visiting on a weekday, especially around 10 am. It was way less busy, and I got more time with the exhibits. I went on a weekend and it felt a bit rushed with all the people around.

I suggest checking out the small but cozy cafeteria inside for a quick bite. It’s not overpriced and a nice break during your visit. Don’t miss trying the local pastries, they were delicious!
