Pamukkale Natural Park
For fantastic photos, don’t forget to explore the pools at sunset. The colors are stunning and much less crowded compared to midday.
If you're staying in Pamukkale village, walk to the entrance instead of taking a taxi. It’s a short, beautiful stroll and saves you some cash!
Check out the Hierapolis ruins first before hitting the pools. You can save time and avoid the heat while appreciating the history before you relax.
Wear water shoes! The surfaces can get super hot and slippery, and having good grip helped me stroll around the travertines comfortably
Cleopatra Pools
Richmond Pamukkale Thermal Resort
If you’re into nature, spend some time walking around the nearby travertines before or after your soak. It’s stunning and totally free – I loved it!
I think the lunch buffet is worth it, but try to go right when it opens at noon to get the freshest options... The later it gets, the less appealing the food seems
Mount Honaz
Consider visiting on a weekday if you can; it'll be less crowded than weekends, and you'll have a more peaceful experience
If you're not a fan of cold weather, plan your visit between late spring and early fall. The views are breathtaking, and the temperatures are much more enjoyable then.
I suggest downloading an offline map before you go. GPS can be tricky in the mountains, and you don't want to get lost!
Check the weather the night before. It changed on us, and we didn't bring rain gear; hiking in the rain is not fun!
Incilipinar Governor Recep Yazicioglu Cultural Park
I recommend visiting early in the day, around 8 AM, to enjoy a quiet stroll before the crowds show up. The morning light is perfect for pictures too!
Pack some water and snacks if you're planning to stay a while. I forgot mine and found the prices in the park a bit steep.
Kaklik Cave
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality Camlik Park
Plan a leisurely stroll, but don't forget to wear good shoes! I wore flip-flops and regretted it halfway through. You’ll want to explore every inch of this vast park!
Bring a water bottle and snacks from home. While you can buy stuff there, the prices can be a bit high. Staying hydrated and munching on your treats saves you some cash!
Justice Park
Incegiz Canyon
I recommend visiting Incegiz Canyon in the early afternoon, around 2 PM, when the lighting is just perfect for photos. Plus, you’ll avoid the morning crowds. Trust me, the views are way better without a bunch of people blocking your shot!
