First off, get there early! I mean like 8 AM if you can. It was much less crowded then, and I really enjoyed the peace of walking through the ancient ruins without tons of people.

If you like fruit wines, swing by the local wine shops to taste before you buy. I didn’t do this and ended up with a bottle I wasn't keen on. My advice is to sample and chat with the shopkeepers – they’re super friendly!
