Saklikent National Park

Don't miss the chance to rent a raft for a different view of the gorge. It's a fun experience that you won’t regret!

I'd suggest starting your visit around 9 AM. It's less crowded and the weather is cooler for exploring.

If you're planning to walk through the gorge, wear waterproof shoes. Trust me, you'll get wet! Those river crossings can be a splash zone!

grab a cheap lunch from the local cafés nearby. there's nothing like fresh gözleme while enjoying the river views
Fethiye Sahil

Take the time to explore the little shops the next street over. I found some hidden gem souvenirs at half the price compared to those on the main walkway.

Check out the local food stalls for lunch instead of the beachside restaurants. I saved a ton of money on amazing kebabs that were 4x cheaper than the places right on the water.

If you want the best sunbeds, get there by 9 AM. I thought I could stroll in later, but by 10, all the good spots were taken and I had to settle for a less comfy area
Oludeniz Beach

My advice is to bring your own water. Buying drinks at the beach can add up fast. I filled up my reusable bottle at the fountain, and it saved me a lot!

I recommend visiting the Blue Lagoon; it’s a bit quieter. Although it gets crowded later in the day, if you can get there by around 9 am, you'll have some peace before other tourists come in.

If you're looking to do some paragliding, book it online in advance. I missed out because I didn't book ahead, and the wait lists were super long!
Valley of the Butterflies
Calis Beach

Make sure to explore the little shops behind the beach. I randomly found a cute souvenir store with better prices than the touristy spots by the promenade, which is a definite win.

I recommend checking the local bus schedules if you want to explore nearby areas like Ölüdeniz. They are really affordable and save you from dealing with the hassle of parking

I suggest going for lunch at one of the beachside cafes around 1 PM, as the fresh fish dishes are really good and not too crowded then. Plus, the views are stunning!
If you plan to rent sunbeds just negotiate the price beforehand. I think we saved a bit by simply asking for a discount rather than accepting the first offer!
Yaka

I suggest packing a picnic. There are lovely spots to relax, and it saves you money compared to the on-site café prices, which can be a bit steep.

Make sure to wear comfortable shoes! The trails can be rocky, and I definitely regretted wearing sandals during my visit. You want to explore without worrying about your feet!

If you’re interested in photography, bring a good camera! The views are stunning, and the golden hour before sunset gives you amazing lighting – trust me, it's worth it!

I recommend visiting Yaka early in the morning around 8 AM to beat the crowds and enjoy the serenity of the park. It really adds to the experience!
Journaled Bay

I recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks, the beach bar is a bit pricey. I ended up spending way more on food than I planned. Pack a cooler and enjoy a picnic!
Towered Beach

My advice is to swing by around 4 PM for the best vibe. The beach starts to calm down and you can snag a good spot to watch the sunset without the crowds

i recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks to towered beach. the prices at nearby cafes can be a bit steep, and the food isn't anything special. enjoying a picnic saves money and is pretty relaxing!
Ugur Mumcu Park

I suggest visiting around 5 PM when the weather cools down and you can catch a beautiful sunset. Plus, it’s less crowded, so you can really enjoy the peaceful vibe

My advice is to bring some snacks or a picnic. There aren’t many food stalls nearby and you’ll want to savor the lovely atmosphere without needing to leave for food.
Katranсi Bay Nature Park

I think the views are best if you hike up around 5 PM when the sun starts to set. It was absolutely stunning, and the crowds were way thinner compared to midday
I suggest bringing your own snacks and drinks. The park has some cafes, but trust me, they are a bit overpriced. I saved a nice chunk of change by just packing a picnic!
