Langeron Beach
bring your own snacks and drinks. prices at the beach are marked up, and i spent way too much on food. packing a cooler is a total game changer.
Explore the nearby promenade. There are some cool little shops and cafes that I wish I had gone to before just heading straight to the beach.
Shevchenko Park
Make sure to wear comfy shoes! The park is quite big and you'll likely do a lot of walking. I didn't, and I regretted it halfway through my visit.
I think visiting during weekdays is better. On weekends it gets really busy with locals and tourists; I found it hard to enjoy the atmosphere on a Saturday.
I suggest visiting in the early morning, around 8 AM, when the park is less crowded and cooler. It gives you a peaceful vibe and some great photo ops before the crowds hit.
Odessa City Garden
I suggest exploring the park’s hidden paths. There are some quiet corners that are perfect for relaxing and you might stumble upon some beautiful flowers or art installations.
Arboretum Victory
If you're into plant life, definitely grab a map at the entrance. It’ll help you find the coolest spots and you won't miss any of the hidden gems!
I suggest bringing your own snacks and drinks. The cafe options are limited and kinda pricey, so save some cash and enjoy a picnic instead!
Don't forget to charge your phone! You'll want to snap plenty of photos, and the sunset views around 5 PM are to die for. Just awesome!
Check out the trees in the southern section first; they have some unique species and it's usually less busy. I think you’ll love the tranquility there.
Park Named after Maxim Gorky
Istanbul Park
I recommend visiting Istanbul Park in the late afternoon, around 4 PM. The light is beautiful, and it's quieter, so you can enjoy the greenery without the big crowds.
My advice is to bring some snacks and drinks with you. There are limited food options inside, and the prices can be a bit steep.
Odessa City Dolphinarium
Odessa Zoo
Preobrazhensky Park
My advice is to bring your own snacks and drinks. There are a few vendors, but prices can be high! Having a picnic in one of the green spaces made my day budget-friendly.
Arcadia Beach
Bring your own beach towels and umbrellas. Renting them can get a bit steep—like 100 UAH for a towel? I was shocked! So, pack those from home to save some cash
I suggest you try the local beach cafes for lunch. They’re way better than the pricey restaurants near the entrance and you won’t leave broke! My favorite was the one with the seafood platter yum!
Check out the beach parties if you want some fun! There’s usually something happening on Saturday nights. Just be ready for loud music; I enjoyed it, but some folks didn’t!
