Don't forget to bring your own water; things can get pricey in the rink. I wish I had packed a bottle before heading out!

I recommend checking out their skate classes if you're a newbie. They can really help with learning the basics quickly; I wish I had done that!

If you're renting skates, try to get there by 2 PM on weekends. The lines were way shorter then, and I had more time on the ice!
