Dubai Mall

If you're keen on fashion, head to the Dubai Mall during the week, especially around 10 AM. Less crowded, easier to browse shops without the weekend rush.

Plan to spend a good 3-4 hours here if you want to see a bit of everything. I underestimated how huge the mall is and ended up running out of time!

Don’t miss the dancing fountain show outside! It’s fantastic, and the best view is right from the waterfront area. Make sure to catch it around 6 PM to avoid crowds.

Make sure to wear comfy shoes. You’ll be walking a lot and I regretted wearing my cute but painful sandals. Sneakers are definitely the way to go.
Dubai Fountain
Dubai Frame

Be sure to take your camera for some stunning pictures, especially at the viewing area. The views are jaw-dropping! Just don’t stand too close to the glass floor if you're squeamish!

My advice is to check out the exhibition on the ground floor before heading up. It gives you a neat background on Dubai's history and the conception of the Frame

Try to time your visit to catch the sunset! The view at that time is absolutely magical, but make sure to reserve your spot for an hour before sunset to get the prime view.

I suggest visiting early in the morning, around 9 AM, to avoid the crowds and enjoy a quieter experience. We went around 10 and it got really busy quickly!
Burj Al Arab Jumeirah

I suggest using public transport if you can... The new Dubai Metro goes close by, and it’s way cheaper than a cab... You get to avoid traffic jams too

I suggest booking afternoon tea at the Skyview Lounge. It’s a great way to experience the luxury without emptying your wallet as much as a full meal might cost.
Check the weather before you go. Going up to the observation deck is way better on a clear day. I had to skip it because of the haze, and I was bummed!

Plan your visit on a weekday instead of the weekend. It tends to be less crowded, which means more time to enjoy the views and take pictures without a ton of people in the way.
The Palm Fountain
Jumeirah Mosque
Deira Clock Tower
my advice is to grab a snack nearby before your visit. there are some cute cafes around the area, and you'll want some energy while you explore. i found a nice spot just a 5-minute walk away!

I suggest checking out the area surrounding the clock tower. It's quite lively, and there are some great local shops to explore. Just be aware that it can get crowded on weekends, so if you can, try weekdays!
