Parker's Piece

My advice is to take a stroll around 4 PM. The lighting is beautiful for photos, and it's much less crowded than in the morning. You'll actually have the space to relax!

I think it's smart to bring a blanket or a small foldable chair. We ended up sitting on the grass, which was okay, but having something comfy is a game changer, especially if you plan to chill for a few hours.

Don't miss out on the Ice Cream truck that shows up on sunny days! The flavors were amazing and perfect for a hot day. I wish I had tried more - it's a must if the weather’s nice!

If you're into sports, bring a frisbee or a ball! I saw lots of groups playing, and it looked like a lot of fun. Even if you just join in for a bit, it’s a great way to meet people!
Jesus Green

Make sure to wear comfy shoes! You might find yourself wandering a bit more than you planned especially if you want to explore the trails.

Check out the outdoor lido if you fancy a swim. It’s super refreshing on a hot day, and it’s much more fun than just lounging in the park.

There are plenty of benches, but if you want to claim a good spot, arrive early. I missed out on the best views because I didn't get there soon enough!

I found that the best time to visit is around 4 PM. The park isn’t too crowded then, and the light is perfect for photos.
Christ's Pieces

I recommend grabbing a coffee from a nearby café before heading to Christ's Pieces; it makes for a nice picnic vibe. Plus, you can chill on the grass with great views!

If you’re on a budget, don't forget to bring your own snacks! There are benches everywhere, and it’s a great spot to relax without spending too much.
Cherry Hinton Hall

If you can, try to visit on a weekday morning around 9am. The park is way quieter then, and you can enjoy the beautiful garden without all the crowds getting in the way.

Don't forget to bring some bug spray. I did, and it made a huge diference while enjoying the lovely green space. The mosquitoes can be quite annoying at times.
The Backs

I recommend bringing a packed lunch to enjoy by the river. Food options nearby can get pricey and the views are way better than a cafe. Just don't forget a blanket for comfort!

If you're visiting The Backs, I suggest going around 4 PM. The sunlight hits the river just right then, and it's perfect for photos. Plus, it’s less crowded so you can chill with a nice view
Lammas Land
