My advice is to go for the half-day packages if you are new. It's totally enough to get a feel for skiing or snowboarding without overwhelming yourself.

I recommend checking the weather before your visit. I went on a cloudy day, which messed with visibility. Clear days are way better for beginners!

I suggest booking your lessons a few days in advance online; I saved some money this way with early bird discounts. Don't wait till the last minute!

My advice is to take a lesson if you're a beginner. The instructors at The Ski Shack are super friendly and really help you break the ice. I tried to learn on my own, and it was frustrating at times!
