Disneyland Park

I think getting the Genie+ service is worth it if you're planning to hit the popular rides. It saved us a few hours. Just make sure to get it as soon as you arrive!

Pro-tip: Look for character meet and greets at less busy times, like during parades. We got awesome photos without the huge crowds obstructing everything!

I suggest using the Disneyland app to check wait times in real-time. I found it super helpful for dodging long lines and planning our next moves on the fly!

I recommend hitting the less popular rides first thing, like the Matterhorn or the Alice in Wonderland ride. The lines build up quickly, but they’re way worth it.
Downtown Disney

You might want to bring your own water bottles. There are spots to refill them, and it saves you some cash instead of buying pricey drinks all the time.

I think trying the food trucks is a must! They're on the cheaper side compared to restaurants, and you get some delicious bites too!

Don't miss the outdoor seating near the restaurants. It’s a great place to relax, people watch, and enjoy some snacks without the indoor bustle.

I suggest checking out the Live Entertainment schedule before visiting. We stumbled upon some really cool performances that made our day extra special
Cars Land

Pro tip: If you're planning on shopping, hold off until later in the day. The lines are shorter, and you can grab any toys or souvenirs while the rides are less busy!
My advice is to download the Disneyland app for wait times and dining options. It helped me avoid long waits by checking mobile ordering for food, which is a game changer!
Incredicoaster

I think it’s a good idea to grab a snack from the nearby carts before getting in line, so you have the energy for the ride. I regret not bringing something to munch on!

If you’re looking to save some cash, try sharing the photo package with your group. The pics are pretty fun, but buying separately can get pricey!

I recommend hitting the Incredicoaster early in the morning, like around 9 AM. The lines are way shorter, and you'll get to ride without much waiting at all.

My advice is to buy the Genie+ pass if you can. It’ll help you skip the line for the Incredicoaster and save you loads of time later on in the day.
Grizzly River Run

I suggest bringing a waterproof phone pouch or ziplock bags for your belongings. The splashes are wild, and I regret not protecting my stuff better!
Indiana Jones Adventures

Don't forget to check out the little details and artifacts in the queue line. I think they really add to the immersive experience, so take your time there.

I recommend booking a Genie+ pass if you can; it saves you loads of time in line, especially during peak hours. I didn't and regretted it badly!

My advice is to grab a snack at the carts near the entrance before heading in. It really helped me recharge and avoided the higher prices inside the park.
Pirates of the Caribbean

I recommend checking the park's app for wait times. That way, you can plan your day better and avoid being stuck in long lines, which can be a buzzkill.

I suggest hitting up the ride right when the park opens around 8 AM. The lines are way shorter in the morning, and you can hop on twice before the crowds come in.
I think grabbing a Disney dining plan can save you some bucks. Food prices are higher in the park, but it's totally worth it if you plan to eat a few meals there
Space Mountain

If you have the option, I recommend using the single rider line. It’s a great way to cut down your wait time, even if you end up on the ride separately from your group.

Bring a light jacket. I didn't realize how chilly the inside would be, and it was a bit uncomfortable without one. Plus, it makes the ride even more thrilling!
Star Tours – The Adventures Continue
My advice is to visit during the early afternoon, like around 2 PM. It’s usually less crowded then, so you can enjoy more rides without the crazy wait times.

I recommend checking the weather before you go. If it’s a rainy day, you'll find shorter lines, but make sure to have a poncho handy just in case!
It's a Small World

Make sure to grab a Dole Whip right after the ride! It's the perfect refreshing treat, and you'll be glad you did!

I suggest riding It's a Small World during the evening parade. The lines are shorter then, and the boat ride under the twinkling lights is super magical.
